The Portrait Creation Process

The portrait creation process doesn't begin when I pick up the camera, at CCB it begins the first time we connect with you over the phone.  I firmly believe that I can't do what I do without you which means we'll connect over the phone several times prior to the portrait session and meet once in person to plan everything out.

Over the years I have found that I am able to my best work when I get to really know you and your family and what matters most to you right now.  This means that I even schedule these calls and meet with returning clients because as the years go by children grow and priorities change, and every portrait experience should be as special and tailored to your family as the first one.

Once the big day arrives, you'll know what to expect during the portrait session, and I'll know how to tailor everything to create the portraits you're already imagining for your home.

your artwork

At CCB Photography we specialize in the finished portrait artwork including portraits for the wall, art books, albums, and the beloved portrait treasure boxes.

We'll begin discussing the perfect artwork for your needs during the planning phone calls and in-person meeting prior to your portrait experience.  Following the portrait experience, we'll meet once again in the studio for the Order and Design meeting where I'll guide you through the selection of your favorite portraits and finalize the design of your artwork.

Artwork production times vary, but most take around 8 weeks.  Once the artwork has been delivered to the studio we'll send you a text to schedule pick-up or delivery.

When I look at those photos,
I remember times when we smiled,
especially when times were hard.
