EVERY SENIOR PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
Portrait experience planning consultation to help us customize the session to capture who you are and your story, answer any questions you might have, and help you prepare.
We begin with the end in mind, so at the consultation we'll also decide which portrait collection is right for you or if the a la carte menu best suits your needs.
Cate will create a storyboard for your session including outfits and locations so we can make the most of our time together on the day of the session.
On the day of your session, we'll follow the plan laid out in the storyboard, and Cate will guide and direct you through posing for each outfit and location to help you feel confident and comfortable.
Finally, you'll enjoy an in-studio ordering appointment where you'll see your portraits on the TV and be able to select your favorites to fill your chosen collection or complete the items selected from the a la carte menu.

Do you Offer Destination POrtrait Sessions?
After years of working with High School Seniors, we've found that three outfits is ideal for the session. Fewer than three can make it hard to get enough variety and more than four means you're spending more time in the changing tent than actually being photographed. Don't worry! You'll receive a printed style guide in the mail after you book your session, and we'll plan out every outfit right down to the accessories at the session planning meeting.
While ICONIC portrait experiences are available year-round, we highly recommend scheduling your senior portrait session for the summer between your junior and senior year, and our favorite month to schedule is June. June is typically has the BEST weather and, from experience, is least likely to have scheduling conflicts. Dates fill up fast and we typically start scheduling those June dates as early as February, so make sure to reach out as soon as possible.
The portrait style guide will also include suggested locations in and around Middle Tennessee. Part of the portrait planning process will include selecting the location to perfectly create the look and feel you want for your portraits and booking that location when necessary. Remember locations like Cheekwood and South40 Farm require booking fees not included in the CCB portrait session fee.
I've photographed seniors everywhere from the beaches of South Hampton New York to the mountains of Western North Carolina, so if you have a location that is extra special to you then let's jump on a plane or load up the car and head that way.
